The national final of the 33rd edition of the National Mathematical Olympiad, organised by the Portuguese Mathematical Society in partnership with the Mathematical Department of Coimbra University, and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, Ciência Viva, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Novo Banco and Pathena was held on the 22nd March.
This year the final was held at Dr. Augusto César da Silva Ferreira High School, with 90 registered participants distributed by three levels:
- Junior (high school 6th and 7th year)
- A (high school 8th and 9th year)
- B (high school 10th to 12th year)
The winners (see: http://olimpiadas.spm.pt/) will be part of the Portuguese team for the 2015 international competitions: Thailand (International Mathematical Olympiad); Republic of Cabo Verde (CPLP Mathematical Olympiad) and Puerto Rico (Latin American Mathematical Olympiad).
